Editorial policy

Our reviews aim to help buyers pick the right SOP tool — not to please vendors.

How we choose products

We include any SOP-related tool with a meaningful user base, whether or not the vendor has a partner program. We do not accept payment for inclusion or higher rankings.

How we test

• We use each product for at least one real workflow, not a demo dataset.
• We evaluate onboarding, first-draft quality, editing, sharing, and adoption.
• We compare pricing at published rates and note any hidden costs.
• Ratings are calibrated across the category, not against a vendor's marketing.

How we rate

Ratings are on a 5-point scale based on our own hands-on testing. We do not currently aggregate user reviews — when we do, we will disclose the source.

Updates

Reviews carry a "last updated" date. Major changes (pricing, new features) trigger a review re-test.

Corrections

If a vendor believes a review contains a factual error, contact us with evidence and we will investigate.
